How old do you have to be to make reservations in a hotel in Nashville?

My friend and I are preparing for a trip to Nashville for a one night stay. She is 20, and I am 19. I was just wondering how old do you have to be to make reservations for a hotel/motel? Also, how do sites like priceline.com or hotels.com work? Would you have to make reservations through those sites?
A lot of help appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Booking online is the safest and easiest way to book a hotel room. Most of them work the same way — you choose your dates, they show you what’s available. You make your choice, enter in your name, credit card info, etc. and that’s it.

Many folks have gotten good deals on priceline, but the biggest problem is that you don’t know what hotel you are going to get.

There are a handful of places in the area that will allow y’all to check in (some places have a minimum age of 18, some 19, etc.).
