Florida … beautiful bright blue water beach hotel on the beach any good ideas?

Hi, I look to the holidays in Florida with my girlfriend in May for me. Birthday. He was on vacation before, so I want him to see blue water. I will be prettiest in the United States. I also want to find a hotel. oceanfront because I think it is. What is most exciting to wake up in the morning and look out the window at such beautiful water. I have seen several Cancun and I know it's completely different from the Caribbean, so I am. Need some assistance to the city. He 24 I 28 and we want to drink beer. margaritas, but we did not perform like a club or Miami. South Beach. We are looking for. Some beautiful desert, but not a lot to do if we choose. I'm not interested in a luxury hotel. (I like the round in my boxer shorts over my swimsuit is not. Anyone who found my joke). If anyone has suggestions for places will be more! PS and then to Key West might consider again.
